Summer in Grand Teton National Park is the best time to visit. I was there last year shooting an elopement at Schwabacher Landing with my friend and mentor Sarah! We had some time to fit in an engagement session! We met Emily and Anthony through a mutual friend and they drove over two hours from Idaho to come be photographed at sunset for their Grand Teton engagement photos.
Emily and Anthony were so sweet together. We hiked to String Lake first and took some photos walking across a log in the water. Then we took more engagement photos right as the sun was tucking behind the Grand Teton. There are so many wide open fields that give that beautiful & golden Wyoming light. We found one following one of the roads and took so many photos there. We ended the session with photos on the road that led up to the Grand Tetons. It was a full moon that night and the blue hour was everything to witness.
It was such a beautiful night getting to meet Emily & Anthony. I can’t wait for more summer nights running around in Grand Teton National park.
