Garden Party Venue in Nashville | CJ’s off the Square

This day last October for Andrea & Davis was so dreamy. When she reached out, she mentioned how she was planning to use tons of candles instead of flowers and it turned out so beautiful. I loved all the details in their CJ’s off the Square wedding photos. They had an emotional & amazing first look by the koi pond in the garden at CJ’s Off the Square. Their family traveled in to celebrate all night with them. It ended up raining pretty hard all day & we had to move their ceremony under the tent at the last minute, but we were able to still be outside and get amazing photos.

CJ’s off the Square is a historic home turned wedding venue, offering an intimate and picturesque setting for couples longing for a garden party aesthetic wedding. It’s located in the cute town of Franklin, Tennessee just 30 minutes south of Nashville. Surrounded by lush gardens, twinkling lights, and a beautiful koi pond, this venue creates a whimsical atmosphere. It’s so romantic and the staff here are incredible to work with. I loved working at CJ’s off the Square as Andrea & Davis’s wedding photographer.

Andrea chose to use all the candles for the tablescape settings instead of traditional florals. The flowers she had she made herself! This venue is perfect for a candlelit reception, with long tables to be able to celebrate with your guests outside under the twinkling lights. The dance floor sat in the middle of the long tables and the chandelier above created such a romantic atmosphere. It rained the whole time outside of the reception which made their CJ’s off the Square wedding photos look so dynamic seeing rain drops on all the flowers in the garden.

One of the things Andrea mentioned that she loved most about my photography was the storytelling aspect. I loved being able to tell the story of their day in the details at CJ’s off the Square. Everyone was incredibly emotional and happy to see them be married. I loved getting to be their photographer last October and am so happy for them.
