The Cordelle Wedding Venue in Nashville

This day last September for Vanesa & Lucas was so much fun! They were married outside at The Cordelle in Nashville and their wedding photos turned out amazing. Vanesa and I were in the same sorority in college and I was honored when she thought of me for her wedding day. We shot their engagement photos in downtown Nashville. We wandered all around the city and in and out of bars celebrating their engagement. You can see some of their city engagement photos on my blog here.

Vanesa and Lucas went for a retro, disco theme for their wedding! They DIY’d so much of the decor, including their ceremony arch. They thrifted all the records they used for their photo wall and got their flowers at the local Nashville Flower Market. Also, the couple had newspaper programs made of their wedding itinerary and it was so cute in their detail photos. Overall, the day was so colorful and felt incredibly intimate.

The Cordelle Nashville Wedding Photos

The Cordelle is a wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Nashville, seriously five minutes from the Broadway strip. This venue is a beautifully restored Victorian mansion originally built in the late 19th century. This Cordelle venue can accommodate up to 200-300 guests and has beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.

The bridal suite where Vanesa got ready upstairs with her bridesmaids was one of the most beautiful suites for lighting that I have ever photographed. They had disco balls installed above their dance floor which lit up the entire ballroom at all times of the day, every detail was curated and looked so amazing in the venue space.

The Cordelle in Nashville is an amazing venue for wedding photos. There are multiple ceremony sites to choose from! Some couples choose to say their vows inside against the historic brick and others outside in the botanical courtyard. Because The Cordelle is so close to the city, the bride and groom photos here feel super urban. I loved stepping out of the garden courtyard and onto the city streets with them to catch sunset. Their golden hour photos were so stunning here.

I loved getting to be Vanesa & Lucas’s wedding photographer at the Cordelle. This venue is roughly five minutes from where I live in the city so it was amazing getting to conveniently go on venue tours with her. I’m so happy for them as it was an amazing day!
