Harlinsdale Farms

I LOVE shooting here because of the hills in the background looking like mountains, it gives the feeling of being in the Smokies while staying in Nashville. If you're looking for fields with moutains in the background this is the spot! One of my all time favorite spots, especially in the summer. There is a segment with woods that gets the most beautiful cinematic light, your engagement photos will be so golden looking at this location!

There are so many aesthetic cross walks, buildings, and areas in downtown Nashville for engagement photos. It can get very busy so I would recommend a week night or even better to go at sunrise! We could even go to a coffee shop or a bar downtown to add diversity to your images. Additionally, Cumberland Park downtown is the best spot to get the skyline in the back of your engagement photos!

About 20 min south of Nashville, this farm has lots of white fences leading up to a large barn with a green roof. It has wide open grassy areas to run around in and a rushing creek we can go down to for a change of landscape! I would recommend this spot for golden hour imagery as it sees beautiful sunsets. I do lots of sky photos at this location!

Secret Waterfalls & Fields 

Roughly 30 minutes from Nashville, Harpeth River State Park features steep bluff lines overlooking a river. Definitely best for sunrise at this spot, this image is from a sunrise engagement I shot over the summer! It can get super foggy which is so beautiful in your engagement photos. The hike is less than a mile but it is steep, and I love the adventure it provides couples to have. A great spot for cinematic looking engagement photos.

15 minutes east of Nashville, Long Hunter State Park is a super private location. It features lots of fields with tall grasses and evergreen trees. There are multiple trails that lead to a large lake with rocky shores. This is an amazing spot to do winter engagement photos in Nashville because there are lots of evergreen trees along the blue lake, giving color back into your photos!

There are a few beautiful extra spots I have found in the past four years of living and working as a Nashville engagement and wedding photographer! Reach out to me for these! The summer is my favorite because everything in Tennessee is warm and golden! But the fall is beautiful as well and tends to be the most popular. Truly, you can schedule your engagement photos in the season that falls six months before your wedding, so you can use them for your save the dates!
