When you book me, you’re commissioning a creative + passionate human who doesn’t just capture moments, but knows how to foster a place of intentionality in order to organically create them. Through my documentary style, I make images that convey the emotion felt by the subjects within them. By always incorporating elements of film and the landscape into the imagery, I strive to make my art feel immersive for the couple remembering their moments. I want you to be able to relive everything from your elopement day through my imagery for years + years to come.
When you look back on your elopement day I want you to be able to remember more than anything the way it felt. To be surrounded by nature as you make the most sacred vow promising forever. It is an honor and a privilege to stand witness this day, and it is something else entirely to be entrusted to visually document it. I am so intentional about keeping this at the forefront of my headspace at all times. I want to be someone you can trust wholeheartedly, laugh with through the awkward poses, and always confide in.

After being a landscape photographer for over a decade, I take a landscape focused approach into elopement days, which makes my art different.
Your photos will always be natural toned & composed purposefully to bring you back to the landscape you and your lover experienced together!
No silly poses, just meaningful memories you can take with you. I can definitely provide posing when you need it, but otherwise I will stand back and allow the day to unfold naturally between you two, snapping photos along the way.
As an advocate for the outdoors, I know so many amazing landscapes to recommend across the country to be eloped within.
Whether you want to hike up to a serene, alpine lake in Glacier National Park or climb upon rocks in the Joshua Tree desert, I will do thorough location scouting to provide you with the best ceremony locations & portrait spots to ensure you have the best photos possible!
You'll know everything is legal as I help you apply for permits in the specific area you choose, as that is definitely the least fun part!
Even smaller things, like lodging or activities for you to enjoy in the area, I love to guide and help you so you can have a stress free elopement experience together.

"We had the pleasure of working with Nicole for both our engagement photos in Nashville and our elopement in Grand Teton National Park. For our engagement photos, Nicole met with us beforehand to understand our vision and get to know us. She instantly put us at ease during the session and made sure we were comfortable. Prior to our elopement, Nicole put together multiple detailed plans with potential timelines, locations for our day, vendor recommendations and National Park permit information. I'm based out of beautiful Nashville, Tennessee! However, I travel for over 60% of my weddings & elopements every year. I've shot weddings in 25 different states & 2 countries! I love to travel and am inspired by new landscapes constantly. Check out my travel schedule under "pricing"!
My approach combines artistic landscape photography with storytelling wedding photography. I believe the most powerful images happen when couples feel truly present with each other and connected to the landscape & environment around them. My role is simply to provide you a space that you feel so comfortable to feel your connection & every happy moment you'll experience on your day – and thus document it as it unfolds.
I deliver roughly 75-100 photos per hour of shooting! For engagements 150-300, for weddings & elopements 500-2000 depending on length of coverage. I never cap what I deliver. If its a "good" photo, I want you to have it. :)

Because I love editing so much, it feels like painting to me, I have a quicker turnaround time than most! My clients receive a preview gallery within 24-48 hours (up to 72 if its a destination or travel wedding) and full gallery will be made available to you within 4-10 weeks! However, my average turnaround is 4 weeks.
