Hannah + Matt woke up at three am on a Saturday to drive to me in Nashville from Bowling Green, Kentucky for their engagement photos. We almost cancelled for the rain, but it held off and made for the most beautiful foggy morning. We brewed lattes together at my apartment in the early morning. Then we listened to songs in the car by Tyler Childers + hiked around at the local state park, Harpeth River.
The Harpeth River is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful state parks in Tennessee. There is nothing that compares to being outside in landscape in my mind. Integrating couples into natural landscapes is truly my favorite concept to photograph. This state park has so much variety available! The Harpeth River State Park has hikes to a cliff lin
e, sunflower field, river, waterfall, and wooded forest. I really love photographing at Tennessee State Parks for engagement sessions, you can find the list of all of the beautiful parks Tennessee has to offer here.
I loved going to this location with them. It was so much fun spending time on the cliffs and in the sunflower field before they got into the river. Can’t help but feel so excited for it to be summer again, as this was by far my most favorite Saturday from last August. 🤍
Here is the kindest review Hannah left me:
“We had the most magical day working with Nicole for our engagement shoot. She made the day fun, spontaneous, and completely enjoyable throughout. My fiance even admitted he had a great time during the photoshoot. Nicole went out of her way to make our day so perfect. She was amazing and we were so happy with how our photos turned out.”
“I love you like the mountains love the way the morning opens to a soft + bright greeting from the sun” -Tyler Childers
