One of my favorite days from 2023 was this intimate outdoor wedding held at Cedars of Lebanon State Park for Adriane & Spencer. They were so incredibly happy all day and carefree, it made my job so effortless when it came to photographing them being with one another and with their friends & family.
They had beautiful white florals that stood out in the forest and the baby’s breath styled into her bridal hair. Outside the venue, they had long dinner tables set up with bud vases & gorgeous vintage glasses. I loved having calls with her leading up to the wedding because we honestly shared a super similar aesthetic and I really wanted to create imagery for them that reflected a woodsy & effortless wedding in the fall of Tennessee.
A Forest Wedding Venue in Tennessee | Cedars of Lebanon
The Cedars of Lebanon State Park located 45 minutes out from Nashville, Tennessee is a hidden gem of a wedding venue. This venue is perfect for couples dreaming of a forest ceremony with a candlelit reception following. It features multiple cabins, gazebos, and an Assembly Hall that you can rent out for an affordable rate for your wedding day!
The Assembly Hall is a rustic lodge that can hold up to 75 guests. The outdoor space out the back is perfect for having long tables to have dinner with your friends & family. There are endless forests, fields, and even a cave to take bride & groom photos.
Tennessee State Parks are some of the BEST places to get married for cheaper! I can’t say enough great things about Cedars of Lebanon and other Tennessee State Parks. Especially for couples who are laid back and love being in spaces like National Parks. I tend to do a lot of adventure elopement work in National Parks and have found that State Parks, like Cedars of Lebanon or Long Hunter State Park, tend to be less difficult to work with and way less busy when it comes to outside visitors!

Cedars of Lebanon Wedding Photos
Cedars of Lebanon is the most amazing space for wedding photos! There are hiking trails on site, dreamy golden flowers in the late summer, and even a cave, known as Jackson Cave, that we can go to for photos.
Their wedding photos turned out amazing because they were so present and truly enjoying their day. They opted not to do a first look but read letters to one another on the corner of the cabin. It was so sweet & beautiful to watch from afar.
Once we got to the reception, it was such a party. All of their friends & family were so sweet. My favorite part of the reception was Adriane’s surprise dance with her mother. Everyone was crying, including me 🙂
Here is the sweet review Adriane left me:
“If you are getting married and in search of a photographer who will 1. Take the most beautiful unique pictures of your wedding day 2. Be so helpful in the planning/coordinating process 3. Take your ideas/vision and bring them to life 4. Be the sweetest human you’ve ever met, look no further!! In my opinion choosing your photographer is one of the most important parts of a wedding/ elopement, and I couldn’t have made a better choice than Nicole. She made us feel so special from the beginning, through our engagement photos, and at our wedding. She is so talented and while she has her unique style of shooting, I had some photos I wanted that were a different style and she was able to capture these beautifully. I can’t recommend her enough! If you want to look back at your wedding photos and be able to FEEL them through the screen, this is your sign. Thank you Nicole we loved working with you!! <3 -Adriane & Spencer!”
